Sonador and Henrietta have been weaned from their Mum’s. Everyone is very chilled and unbothered as we have been training for this day for some weeks now.

Jac and Jo were gelded today – Nigel the vet was very impressed with their nature.
They were turned out together on to fresh grass and were soon full and having a quiet afternoon nap.
Jo and Jac practiced being loading for a few days before having a trip out to an outdoor arena. They had a great time even managing a small jump.
See the video below.
Jacinto is still showing off his nose warmer. They are being brought in regularly to have their feet picked up and to be handled. They are walked in hand through the village to see some sights.
We need to rest the hay fields so the foals were moved today to go out with our other horses.
The quickly settled in after a short run around with the yearlings.
Sonador is well developed and strong and he went out in the field for the first time today.
We gave hime an hour to get his bearings then turned out Henrietta and Cheyenne. It is a large field but they stayed together.
Bandera XVII had her foal mid morning on the 1st May.
He is a strapping colt. A Pure PRE Andalusian by our stallion Oyon.
We have named him Sonador, which means dreamer.
Henrietta is keen to leave the stable and explore the out side world.
View Henrietta first time out in the field on the video below.
Henrietta was born in the early hours of the morning, after Cheyenne showed no imminent signs the night before.
Mother and daughter are doing well
Henrietta is named after Henry the Eighth.
